what else is new?
Last week, Jackie and I met up with our super fabulous friend Alex of SF Shop Girl. We had an awesome time taking these pictures. I absolutely love these vintage floral shorts that my aunt gave me awhile ago. The weather just started to get warm, so they are finally coming out to play. The shorts also came with a matching floral blazer that is pretty awesome too! I love pieces that are special and different, and actually have an interesting story behind them. My aunt purchased these shorts in Spain in the early 90s (totally rad, duh), which coincidentally is where we took a trip together a few years back and had fabulous time.
Anyways, it should be very clear by now that Jackie and I love prints! Whether it's mixing two different prints or matching the same print, we can't get enough. Polka dots and florals tend to always look great together. I mixed my prints around blue hues, adding gold and nude accents to pop this overall look.
I also need to thank my awesome manager for lending me her superrr (yes, with three r's) sunnies. As I was taking my lunch, Alison knew I was missing one key piece to this look!
