These pictures were taken by my wonderful friend Dominic, who was an absolute pleasure to work with. Jackie and I had a great time collaborating with him! This outfit is all about springtime with its pretty pastels and refreshing takes on favorite trends.

I love this look because I was able to incorporate two of my favorite trends: mixing prints and "tone-on-tone" styling. Mixing prints is always a fun idea when getting dressed. In this look, the polka dot and watercolor prints look beautiful paired together. It's cool and interesting, without being overwhelming to the eye. I find that pairing similar neutrals (in this case, white) makes the mixing print trend easier to accomplish.

The blouse and skirt look lovely together; it's feminine and elegant. But I also believe that every outfit needs a certain edge appeal. Instead of going with safe layers, I decided to be bold and bright. I love pink and will forever be a pinkalicious girl! The cardigan's bright pink color highlights the streaks of pink pastels on the skirt, and the dark magenta tights were the perfect addition to balance all the pink.

Pink on pink on pink.

This whole outfit had a lot going on, so keeping my accessories minimal was necessary. I am a huge fan of vintage jewelry. In this look, I am wearing one of my favorite vintage pieces, a double cuff pearl bracelet that was given to me by my sister. It's a great easy piece that essentially goes with anything. Speaking of versatility, the 5-zip mini is one of the best bags to get at the moment! It's a prefect size and the details are simply fab:

zippers and tassels, what's not to like?

Cardigan: Forever21; Polka Dot Blouse: Vintage; Skirt: Rory Beca for Forever21; Litas: Jeffery Campbell; Necklace: J.Crew; 5-Zip Mini Bag: Rebecca Minkoff; Bracelet and Rings: Vintage

Again, a HUGE thank you to Dominic. The pictures turned out more beautiful than I could have ever imagined!

Please check out his site and Facebook. His work is absolutely fabulous, just like him! I also can't forget my extraordinary hair and make-up duo: Jackie and Kayla. I'm a complete disaster when it comes to the beauty department, so their talents were greatly appreciated!!

I can't wait to share more looks taken by Dominic! I'm so glad I was able to collaborate with this awesome group of people! Collaboration allows for so much more innovation and creativity. To me, the idea of multiple perspectives all coming together to create one concept is just simply a wonderful thing.
