minty, shminty

minty, shminty

I am always looking for excuses to wear something wild. I have a pretty vast collection of  funky shoes, but I rarely get the opportunity to wear them. This is partially my own fault, since last year I had no problem romping around Santa Cruz, even at times climbing rocks in these babies just to get a good shot. Has moving back to San Francisco made me more laid back? Not really, probably just a little more apathetic as I try and navigate what it means to be a "college grad".

In adapting to a new life, and now a new style, this is what things have kind of become. Relatively speaking, my style has become more conservative. Obviously mint lipstick and zig zag platforms are not "conservative", but remember everything is relative! I take simple pieces, like a  basic tee, a black skinny, and a vintage sweater, then I add a little flair with a bright lip and some crazy shoes. Honestly, my shoes are way too cool to just collect dust in my  closet, and my candy-colored lips are just so much fun. My spirit is young, and some things just don't change.
