Happy New Year!
Of course we would be sharing this New Year's Day post fashionably late...
Jacket: Rubbish (Nordstrom BP)
Bag: Marc by Marc Jacobs
Button Up: Banana Republic
Leggings: All Saints, Bloomingdales
Shoes: Kurt Geiger
Bag: Kate Spade
Fur Collar: Unknown, Morning Glory
I am so into this longer length trend. Move over super short mini skirts, we want a little more coverage. There is something still hot about a mid length skirt, even though it doesn't show off a lot of skin. I love this skirt that I found at Nordstrom off their sale rack. The length is clearly on point and the cranberry color is perfect for fall. Some days I live for a simple outfit: an easy top, a comfortable skirt, and my ever so trusted denim jacket. Whatcha think about midi skirts? Clearly, I'm in.
Side Note: I was feeling nostalgic of my Catholic school girl days, so I decided to do some pigtails. I meeeeeeean, they are pretty cute even on a twenty-four year old. Who said only little girls get to have all the hair fun?
I recently purchased some new accessory goodies this week. I love, love, love my new crossbody bag which is way too cute. I can't even get into the reasons and details on why I'm obsessed. My sunnies are also a new addition. I have been searching for months now for the perfect pair. And I finally got them, holla!
A Little Black Dress
should be a wardrobe staple for every girl. I think I've accumulated a few at this point
a definite "oops, I did it again" moment.
I picked out this dress off the sale rack at Anthropologie with no desire to buy it. It was too formal for everyday use and thus an impractical purchase, but once I put it on, I instantly knew I had to have it. I love the shape of this dress with its interesting structure and beautiful back detail. It looks very eclectic, while still maintaining a modern aesthetic.
This was the first time I've worn this dress, and I have no idea why I haven't gotten more use out of it! I can't wait to style it in different ways. It will be a bit difficult, since it is such a statement piece on its own, but I am always up for a challenge.
