get that perfect beat

No matter how much sun there is in San Francisco during spring, it is almost always freezing. This is an outfit I wore while Adrienne and I trotted around upper Fillmore and Pac Heights. I was all bundled up, and actually perfectly comfortable!
Since dressing for spring in the Bay Area is all about layering, I started my outfit with my favorite oversized sweater. I lovingly refer to is as a blanket coat. I received it as a gift a during the holidays a couple years ago, and it is probably the most comfortable thing I own!
From there, I really just added some more warm basics. I chose to wear my black Vince sweater as a top, since its warm but still able to be layered with heavier pieces. On bottom I am wearing a pair of Citizens of Humanity twill pants, honestly a hand-me-down from a generous friend who just didn't want them anymore. Aren't good girlfriends the best? Finally I topped it off with some black boots, and my trusty black knit beanie. Trust me when I say warmth is everything in this weather!
