THINGS TO DO INSIDE: SKINCARE EDITION

I’ve somehow managed to find time for self-care. (lol)
I could learn to sew, or bake, or even attend a Kundalini retreat via Zoom. However, none of these activities will provide the same joy that making my own skincare has brought to my life. Call me basic, but I do love a face mask, and I want to share this joy.
What to do:
Add the clay to a ceramic or glass bowl (avoid metals)
Pour in equal amounts of tea & vinegar (believe me, eyeballing it is part of the fun)
Toss in a touch of lavender oil
Mix your mask using a wooden spoon — see the note above re: metals
the consistency should be similar to pancake batter
sprinkle dried lavender on top to make it pretty
What you need:
Aztec Healing Clay
Apple Cider Vinegar
Chamomile Tea (brewed, and cooled to room temp)
Lavender Oil
Dried Lavender
~ Mask Time ~
Lather on your mask
Do a dance, read a book, call your mom
Let sit for 20-30 mins, or until dry (but not too dry)
Rinse
*pro-tip: your face will be red for 2-3 hrs after the mask—this means it worked!
(Don’t trip, also maybe do it at night. Also who cares, it’s not like we’re going anywhere.)
