Jackie and I had an amazing time shooting with some of our creative friends Dominic, Jackie and Kayla! It was honestly such a blast from start to finish. We started the afternoon getting prepped with hair and makeup, which was super fun since I have zero knowledge when it comes to the beauty realm. Jackie and I rarely plan outfits for our looks, so it was also awesome to actually think about what we were going to wear. Jackie was all ready to go with her outfit, I on the other hand, had a bag filled with random pieces hoping for something magical to come out of it. And voilà: an almost all black look was created. I really didn't want to compete with Jackie's fab tartan print dress, so black was the right choice. Although black is, well black, and possibly dull to some, I find black to be interesting when doing a layered look. This little black dress from Forever21 was one of those quick mall steals. Per usual, I layered a shirt underneath. This sheer top is such a great layering piece under sleeveless dresses and also looks equally as fabulous layered over silk tanks. These pictures were so much fun to take: poses were struck, (invisible) cat walks were walked, and lots of laughter were taken place in between.
