STYLE FILE: VICTORIA BECKHAM
We recently highlighted David Beckham’s personal style in our IG stories. What a fashion journey… However, it’s apparently clear who David takes his lead from - the one and only Mrs. Beckham. Talk about range!
We’ve seen Victoria evolve from her 90’s Spice Girl persona to a bonafide fashion guru; the “little Gucci dress” has been traded for a girl-boss suiting aesthetic. A dynamic evolution that’s done so flawlessly.
A pro at uniform dressing, we decided to highlight this style icon, and show you 4 easy ways to get the Victoria Beckham look.
There’s no better place to start than Victoria’s mid-90’s intro into the limelight. A master of many nineties trends, two-piece dressing was no exception. We’re happy this trend is having another moment in 2020. It makes it an easy look to pull off with many options out there. Her below coffee colored corset top and pant set gave us major Miaou vibes - fyi a really great source for matching set ideas. We love how Miaou experiments with printed denim (more MOO plz) and streetwear styling.
We digress- back to Victoria’s matching sets. This type of outfitting works incredibly well with Victoria’s personal love of monochrome. It’s a style trick that she’s continuously evolved over the years (re: orange looks below).

When you know what you like, you rock it. For Victoria not only is that monochrome, it’s also a good thigh slit. She currently has one in her line for Spring 2020- it’s fabulous and also our entire month’s rent. Keep reading to see what we found for a fraction of the price.
Depending on styling and fit, there are a ton of ways to do this right. Tailoring is key and so is the slit placement. We recommend pairing bodysuits to show off your curves, especially if you are wearing a longer length. For looser silhouettes, top pieces can be more oversized for a chic draped look. Both ways evoke sexiness and confidence- two things Victoria does not fall short on.

While Victoria defined overt femininity; in more recent times, she’s brought forward a new style perspective that leans heavy into a menswear aesthetic. Wide leg trousers, oversized chunky sweaters, and plaid are all ingredients in Victoria’s “borrowed from the boys'“ outfit recipe.
This is a chic timeless look to conquer for dressing up, and also more casual occasions. As you know, we love a comfy moment, so we highlighted a business boy look with a sporty twist. For a more feminine approach, try wearing a stiletto (another VB trademark) or a subtle pop of color to balance the baggier shapes.

Our final outfit to master is Victoria B's approach to styling denim. As we mentioned before, Victoria is a uniform dresser and she knows what she likes. When it comes to wearing denim, she loves the simplicity of wearing a white top with a pair of medium wash indigo bottoms.
Victoria tends to rock a straight, more relaxed leg with a slighter higher rise. Sorry to all our skinny jean fans out there, but this off-duty look needs a looser silhouette. Her denim uniform is elevated with colorful stilettos and statement accessories, such as oversized sunglasses and structured clutches. We absolutely love the outfit (left) with the oversized blazer. The jacket is a classic outerwear piece to complete the look.
