Monthly Roundup: March 2020
A lot has happened this month, but we’re still staying positive!
With the shelter in place across California, we have been tapping more into things we enjoy that typically get neglected in our normal everyday.
This is our glass half full approach. We’re recapping what we’ve been listening to/watching/reading etc. and giving ourselves that little reminder that we’ve all been doing so much!
Check out the truths of our quarantine below aka our new monthly recap series.
TV/Film:
Netflix & chill has never felt more real. We’ve been sucked into the vortex that is known as Joe Exotic and explored many old faves for some good laughs. Has anyone else noticed how every quarantine meme is a clip from season 2 RHOBH?! “Enough Taylor Armstrong, Enough”, we won’t leave you hanging. Check out the below.
Tiger King (Netflix)
Ozark Season 3 (Netflix- new release)
High Fidelity (Hulu)
RHOBH Seasons 1-3 (Hulu & a teaser here)
ANY WILL FARREL MOVIE
MUSIC:
Of course we made a “you’re stuck inside for a month” type of playlist. It’s perfect for shaking it out, doing a face mask, or getting lost in a WFH excel spreadsheet. Our fave songs? “I’m Doing Fine” - Moodyman and “Don’t Know What’s Normal” - Shintaro Sakamoto
WELLNESS:
This month has been all about getting creative about staying active and maintaining our physical/mental wellbeing. Besides mandatory afternoon walks, we’ve also been loving the below ideas.
Dailey Method Online (Sign up for a free 2 week trial!)
Self Acupressure Classes taught through Zoom
FASHION:
Did you shop our guide? A lot of the sales are extending (!!!) so it’s never too late to pull that trigger. Retail therapy is an “essential business” for us. Seriously, please join us.
FOOD/RECIPES:
We’ve been cooking more than ever! Barrett Prendergast’s clean and easy recipes have been a major go-to for us. Homemade bread has been on the menu too. And guess what? We’ve chosen to get baked, not knead.
Healing Garlic Broth
One Bowl Banana Bread

No Knead Bread
