Jackie and I rarely discuss our personal lives on the blog; however, a lot has been happening the last few weeks! For starters, Jackie has been away in France and Italy--if you haven't seen yet, check out her IG. I've been missing my Style BFF! So much has been happening the last two weeks for me while she's been away. I left my job that I have been working at for the last two years. I've had so many great learning opportunities along the way and met some truly amazing people. I really enjoyed my job working directly with fashion and people, but I'd be lying if I said I wasn't ready for a change of pace. Well, as I was complaining about my retail woes to a friend a few months ago, he turned around and told me I should travel.
A few months later, here we are...I am so excited to travel with my boyfriend (and amazing blog photog) to visit family in the UK and travel Europe for the next six weeks. I'm off tomorrow, but wanted to blog a little fun-employed outfit shot beforehand!
I'll miss my employee discount at the store that's for sure! So before I left, I made sure to stack up on my closet essentials like my favorite Retro Tee and Scoop Neck Top. I also got these awesome crepe pants that will travel so well, since they won't wrinkle much in my luggage. They are also a great day-to-night, dress up or down kind of piece. With the structure of the pant, I felt very menswear inspired, especially with my new hair do.
