I'd love to tell you that I've been going to shows in NYC all week, and rubbing elbows with everyone from ADR to Ninja and ¥olandi at Alexander Wang. You saw my arm in that street style snap by Tommy Ton, right? I just got cut out a little when I was walking with Rachel Zoe outside of Lincoln Center.
Jk, I've just been hanging in my apartment with my cat. I guess I'm pulling a George Washington, and I cannot tell a lie.
Nonetheless San Francisco has had its own slew of fashion events that I've been attending. These photos were snapped by our girl, Carlina of Allergic to Vanilla, en route to a beauty showcase at Neiman Marcus. It is always fun having someone new shoot your photos, and things got pretty silly rather quickly.
My outfit here is simple, surprisingly well-matched for me, and sticks to my usual 5-minute rule for getting dressed. I don't usually wear dresses and skirts, especially any kind of fitted pencil-shapes. I do really like this old-number by Topshop because of the paisley and lace print, and super-stretchy material. I added a really cute J.Crew sweater that totally mimics my own skin tone, but kind of in a good way. I finished things off with an easy leather jacket, some Fredas (duh), and my fave Celine bag.
