Denim on chambray... can I get a Hallelujah?!

California is a laid- back place that typically values comfort over fashion. I love this look because it incorporates a casual cool vibe, yet is still fashion forward. Can one ever go wrong with denim? Definitely not! A good denim jacket is something that I believe every person should own. I love this one, recently purchased from J.Crew, because it has that perfect vintage wash that will go well with either light or dark denim. 

When revisiting an old trend, it's all about modernizing.

There is something simply fabulous about mixing denims. A friendly rule of thumb: it's never a good idea to mix the same type of denim together-- that is when things can get a bit too retro.
